The horse mushroom, agaricus arvensis, is closely related to the cltivated mushroom and is edible but with a stronger flavour. As with all mushrooms, it is better not to touch or eat unless accompanied by an expert.
The horse mushroom can grow one of the biggest caps of all fungi, up to 20 cms.
